Acceptance
There is a unique beauty in acceptance. When you accept yourself as you are totally, absolutely then you do not long for anyone or anything to complete you. You feel complete already. The mind does not waver towards or away from anything. In total acceptance of yourself, as you are, there is also acceptance of the present moment. This moment, the now, is perfect, full. There is no movement towards past or future, to feel that sense of perfection. The sense of perfection is already here. The most beautiful moment is now. The greatest high is, right here, right now.
There are some things that are hard to accept, that feels unfair and the mind wishes it gone or altered. This resistance makes the brain dull and it drains energy. A dull brain cannot function efficiently or contribute positively. To accept, is not about passive acceptance or a sense of helplessness which will only lead to passive aggression. If you can go into the memory or the emotional imprint that is hard to deal with, if you can understand that it is not your fault to begin with, then you gain a new kind of insight that is not despair but an active understanding of how things are. When you are not busy fixing blames then you have the energy available to fix the problem. To accept is to look at the emotional imprint, memory, and say ‘Yes, this happened; Now let us go over it, under it or rise above’. Once the memory senses these vibrations of love and acceptance then it is possible to have the physical memory and still not be affected by it emotionally. Acceptance helps you to approach your concerns intelligently.
